Team Riedell Welcomes New Ice Skating Stars

Written By: Riedell | April 26, 2012

We’re thrilled to announce the addition of two new members to the talented group of skaters that make up Team Riedell. Both Jordan Bauth and Vincent Zhou join other outstanding competitive skaters like Johnny and Rachael who rock our figure skate boots and ice skate blades. Put your hands together for Jordan and Vincent (or like this post)!

Rising Star Jordan Bauth

Born and raised in The Big Apple, Jordan showed her amazing figure skating talent when she won the Junior Ladies Championship title at the North Atlantic Regional Championships last October. The 14 year old then represented the U.S. at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games. She finished strong in 7th in the ladies final standings and earned gold in the team figure skating event—watch Jordan’s interview where she describes the feeling of hearing her name called as a gold medal winner! When not on the ice, Jordan loves scrapbooking, drawing and listening to music.

Rising Star Vincent Zhou

On the other side of the U.S. is Vincent Zhou, who trains in sunny California. Vincent became the 2011 Junior National Intermediate Champion at only 10 years old and was crowned the 2012 National Novice Champion this past year. In fact, Vincent was the youngest competitor at Nationals! Vincent’s love for figure skating began at the age of 5 ½ at a friend’s birthday party, which was held at a local ice skating rink—and it’s grown ever since. Watch the strong short program that helped Vincent earn gold at the 2012 U.S. Figure Skating Championships.

We can’t wait to see what the 2013 competitive ice skating season brings for Jordan and Vincent, as well as our other Team Riedell members. Help us welcome these two awesome skaters to our team by leaving a message for them below!
